Park Hyatt Siem Reap Cambodia

As a travelling family, we have stayed at so many hotels including some top notch 5 star hotels. Our stay at Park Hyatt in Siem Reap was up there with our favourite hotels. Every aspect of our stay was perfect which is why we highly recommend all types of travelling but particularly families to book their stay at Park Hyatt.

Travelling with children has it challenges so the location of your hotel can make all the difference to how your trip pan out. Park Hyatt is perfectly located to enjoy the main streets in Siem Reap while having an oasis to escape to with ease.

This is our rapid review:

We visited the spectacular Park Hyatt in Siem Reap as a family with two young children aged 3 and 6 years old. It was perfect from the moment we arrived at the entrance. It’s like walking into a museum with the serene sculptures and flowers and fresh scent in the air. The calm vibes in The Living Room allows you to escape the chaos of Siem Reap immediately while enjoying all the thoughtful decoration.

There is nothing average about this hotel. From the selection of welcome drinks to the unique design of the entire residence. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable that you don’t want to leave. Our room was always kept clean and the turn down service was lovely complete with a bedtime story left on your side table. All towels, linens and toiletries were of a very high standard and we loved the attention to detail.

Our kids were treated very well too. They loved being able to choose a treat from The Children’s Amenities Pack and felt very grown up using the telephone to order it. The Lego and colouring books kept them busy by the pool and during meals. Breakfast was a scrumptious mix of buffet and al a carte items. The traditional Cambodian options sat side by side with western favourites.

All the staff in every area of the hotel accommodated our every need and nothing was too much trouble. There are two lovely swimming pools which offer enough shade and sun with abundant loungers and even fans to keep your face cool while basking in the Sun. Complimentary water and ice cold grapes on cocktail sticks was a perfect touch.

For fitness fanatics like my husband, there is a top notch gym plus relaxing facilities including steam rooms. You mustn’t leave the Park Hyatt before watching the Cultural Show and enjoying the tasty seafood dinner and for an extra little treat head to The Glasshouse. They offer a lovely selection of coffees and deserts including huge ice-cream coupes that will keep you and your kids very happy.

One of the best things about this hotel is the location. You can enjoy every aspect of your stay while being across the road from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap, which ensures you still get to enjoy authentic Cambodia while living in luxury. We cannot wait to return and thank all the staff for being so genuine and personable.
